What is functional Training?

Functional training is designed to improve strength and efficiency of major human body movements along all three major planes of motion. This type of training differs from isolated movements by working the body as a whole, incorporating multiple muscle groups simultaneously, which translates more effectively to the movements that people perform every day. Functional training is effective in developing and improving core stability, balance, and coordination.
